A swimming routine, set to music, to be performed in the lake at Regatta. This event is open to girls age 11 and up, who are NOT participating in Jazzbelles. The girls swimming ability will be subject to a qualifying swim test, before beginning. Participants need not be on the Wallkill swim team, but this involves advanced swimming ability and is not open to beginner swimmers. A Ladies group member chairs the committee and teens coach the girls.
Must be at least 11 years old by August 31st of current year.
Must be able to dive successfully.
Must be able to execute moves successfully.
Must be able to tread water for no less than 10 minutes.
Must be able to make at least 90% of all practices.
MUST be able to swim!!

Lake Sponsored Trips
The Ladies of the Lake pays for one trip, per child, per summer. Children may attend either the 7-12 trip or the Story Hour Trip or the Teens Seaside Trip (if in Teen Canteen and they qualify point-wise). Additional trips for any child during that current season, and/or additional children, may attend with the child paying their own way.

Mountain Creek Water Park

Sign up with Chairperson or with Violet in the office with a phone number and full payment for all food vouchers and any extra tickets payable to “Ladies of the Lake”. (Each child receives one trip courtesy of the Ladies of the Lake. All others are prepaid at parent’s cost). No transportation or supervision is provided. Please make arrangements so that all children have a responsible chaperone at the park in lieu of parent. Meet 15 minutes prior to park opening at the ticket booths at Mountain Creek for ticket and meal voucher distribution. In the event of inclement weather, you will be contacted by phone that morning, and the trip will be rescheduled. Bring the whole family for a fun day with Lake Wallkill friends at Mountain Creek!
If you cannot make the scheduled date, “anytime” consignment vouchers are available; contact the Chairperson for availability. Please note that no food other than sealed water bottles are allowed in the water park. Bags are checked prior to entering the park.
